SONS de la Mediterrània

The final of the competition will be held on October 10th at the CAT Tradicionàrius facilities.

The final of the 13th edition of the SONS de la Mediterrània Competition is coming up, an event that forms part of the programme of the Fira Mediterrània in Manresa and which is organised by Grup Enderrock together with the CAT Tradicionàrius. This year, the final of the competition will be held at the Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius, in the Gràcia district, and the three finalist groups will play: Cat Klezmer Trio, Laura Esparza and Carlos Esteban and Tecum Terra.

The finale will be held on Saturday 10 October at 7.30 p.m. and the winner of this edition will be discovered. It could be Cat Klezmer Trio, a group from Blanes with a very typical European formation of clarinet, guitar and double bass that dominates the rhythms of klezmer and Balkan music; or Laura Esparza and Carlos Esteban, two Valencians with an evolved style of Mediterranean rock, with percussions, strings and horns that give texture to the songs; and finally, Tecum Terra, the voices of Ariadna Ruiz and Noelia Sánchez that are accompanied only by traditional percussions and some impression of theatre and dance.

The concert is free of charge and you will have to reserve your ticket in order to ensure that all the health protocols of the event are followed. For security reasons, only one ticket can be purchased per booking.
