"SAIL IN Tour” Festival

Sail IN, one of the most important  nautical culture and film festivals in Europe, is for the first time organising  three day-sessions in Barcelona as part of the celebrations for the America's Cup in order to share the passion and values embodied in the sport.

SAIL IN TOUR will be presenting a selection of  feature-length and short films, followed by talks with  prominent figures from the world of sailing , to give the public a new perspective on the sport of sailing and its relationship with the sea.

At the age of 83, Swedish yachtsman Sven Yrvind became well-known all over the world for his solo voyages. Over the last five years, he has been preparing his boat for a voyage of almost 15,000 miles from Ireland to New Zealand, which he estimates will take him 300 days to complete.
